Collecting Personal Information

Pro Strobe collects customer personal information that we require to process, package, distribute, and/or complete your purchase through the Website, and to provide any and all reasonably related services. Personal information which Pro Strobe collects includes your name, address, telephone number, email address and credit card information. In addition, Pro Strobe’s web server will automatically gather information about your visit to our Website (which may not be personal information), including your browser type, what pages have been viewed, the time of visit, etc. We do this to improve services we offer you, to improve marketing, analytics, or site functionality.

Pro Strobe may contact you by phone or email regarding an order placed by you, or to provide you with information or services that you have requested from Pro Strobe. Your email address and/or telephone number may be used internally for reasonable business purposes, including confirming orders, answering questions, and other customer related services.

Service Providers

Pro Strobe may transfer personal information to third parties for processing, including for the purposes of credit card verification and processing, as well as to facilitate order distribution. When you purchase a product from the Website, we will share only such personal information that is necessary for the third party to provide that service. Our Website includes social media features, such as the Facebook Like button [and Widgets, such as the Share this button or interactive mini-programs that run on our site], and links to third party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of these other websites. You will need to check the policy statement of these others websites to understand their policies. When you access a linked site you may be disclosing private information. It is your responsibility to keep such information private and confidential. Pro Strobe is not responsible for any private information, including but not limited to personal information, disclosed by you to such other third party websites.

Data Retention

Pro Strobe maintains a record retention and destruction policy that governs how long information will be stored by Pro Strobe and when that information will be destroyed. Pro Strobe will retain your information for as long as your account is active, as needed to complete your purchase and/or continue to provide you services through the Website, to comply with audit and tax purposes, or to comply with any legal processes and/or law enforcement requests.  Personal information will be destroyed by Pro Strobe when it is no longer required by law to retain the information, and when it is no longer required for any of the purposes identified in this Privacy Policy. Our Security Practices

Transactions conducted through the Website are administered and processed via PayPal’s secure third party connections. This includes the transfer and receipt of your personal information.  In addition, when a secure transmission needs to be made when sensitive information is being transmitted, Pro Strobe uses SSL Encryption to ensure credit card information is secure.

We follow generally accepted standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Personal information collected by Pro Strobe may be transferred across provincial, state and /or international borders and stored in jurisdictions outside of your home jurisdiction. These receiving jurisdictions may be subject to different standards of privacy protection than apply in your home jurisdiction.
